Take, for example, the horrible N64 Superman game (you know which one I'm talkin' about). Then there are games like Marvel Ultimate Alliance. (Now that was an awesome game!) As long as the game isn't directly tied to a comic-based movie and rushed out to release w/the movie, then I think it has a good chance of success.
