03/06/12 - So, I have three questions -- #1: Why are all these users adding their strategies into the comments on this article? The description clearly says that you have to add your strategy into the user eGuide section of the site...hence the link. #2: I added mine on the 3rd(I believe -- if not, then on the 4th), but it still says that my eGuide is awaiting moderation...does this mean that I was not entered in the contest in time? #3: Or does what Prima Games said; "We have hundreds of entries everyday and if your guide happens to not get published, you will still be entered into the contest." imply towards eGuides still being in moderation as well? Thanks.
02/15/12 - The Soldier is a tough warrior, able to deal with a range of combat situations. The Soldier gets improved health, has the widest selection of weapons and Adrenaline Rush is a life saver on insanity.

02/15/12 - But after Soldier its Infiltrator and Vangaurd. Infiltrator with Tactical Cloak and enhanced sniping awesome close range or long range killing. Then by adding the bonus power Flashbang Grenade to confuse enemies you've got a Stealth Master taking out enemies with deadly efficiency when they can't see you either through invisibility, distance or blinding them with a flash. Alternatively Tech power Geth Shield Boost or Energy Drain for those situation when you need your shield to protect yourself especially on Insanity. Vanguard with Shockwave and Charge being two awesome biotic moves. Then with any of the additional bonus biotic powers Reave to break past shields or Slam well to slam enemies but either to build up a big biotic move combo with Biotic moves already available or Warp Ammo so you can deal extra damage out to biotic shields and not have to wait for moves to recharge to deal some biotic damage or alternatively for survival on Insanity particularly Barrier is a good choice for extra shielding. Also creating a Charging Biotic Superman.

02/15/12 - Summary of Favourite Class and Strategy for Mass Effect 2: In Mass Effect 2 Soldier, Infiltrator and Vanguard are my top three classes to use. Soldier being my number 1 favourite to use and is the default Shepard class. The reason why I like the Soldier class the most is that, the Soldier class has the biggest arsenal 4/5 weapons available (excluding Heavy Weapons) and access to all 3 ammo powers that Shepard can have when choosing a class. By having access to the Assault Rifle (all ranges), Heavy Pistol (mid-range), Shotgun (close-range) and Sniper Rifle (long-range) having such diversity with weapons allows you to be able to take down enemies from all ranges, It also lets you try out the guns to find out what your favourite weapon is e.g Sniper Rifle then the Infiltrator class would be a class to play as next. With three ammo powers Disruptor, Incendiary and Cryo. You can set guns with specific ammo. Usually I equip the Assault Rifle with Disruptor Ammo, Hand Cannon with Cryo and Shotgun with Incendiary. Also once you have unlocked the bonus power which lets you have one of your squad member's powers, as a bonus I would either choose Inferno Grenade cause soldiers should have grenades but typically I would go with another ammo power out of the three you can choose Armor-Piercing, Shredder or Warp. If choosing Armor-piercing ammo equipping it to any gun particularly the sniper rifle to further increase it's power. With Warp ammo I can handle those with biotic shields more effectively. Shredder does help do more damage against organics but It's not needed since you have Incendiary which is just as effective against organics plus you see them burn. By having a fourth ammo option your soldier now has four ammo types which can be set to each gun. But Warp ammo is my favourite to choose as it then means you have ammo powers to deal with all types of enemies and since the collectors use biotic shielding better for taking them out. But last but not least forgetting Adrenaline rush which slows everything down for you and reduces damage taken so you can get in a better position for shooting enemies or if low on health able to retreat faster so you can recover your shield and get a chance to heal yourself. But end of the day having played the game with all of the classes they all give a unique and enjoyable combat experience and especially on Hardcore and Insanity difficulty you need to plan a combat strategy depending on your class and two squad members to defeat your enemies.
02/14/12 - i like to play as a soldier because its an all around class you may rush or sit back or be a in between.when i play i like to use garrus and grunt(or wrex when playing mass effect 1) and let garrus sit back and hit them with his sniper, while grunt(or wrex) is up on the front lines with his shotgun. let garrus disrupt there weapons while grunt(or Wrex) hits them with warp.i can be in back picking them off with my sniper, being up front with grunt(or Wrex) shotguning them down or being in the middle, i prefer the assault rifle and mow them down, with the incinerating bullets or cryo.i might switch out garrus with legion once and a while because legion is awsome !. and i always make a relashinship with liara T'soni, and i am 100% for the alliance, not for cerberus.

02/14/12 - I love playing as a vanguard and using biotic charge to get straight into the action and blow them away with my shotgun. I like other styles too, but this one is the most fun. :)
KyleFleck says:
02/14/12 - Sentinel. just an amazing class that could handle any situation with Tech Armor and Warp plus shooting your enemies with bullets.
02/14/12 - Vanguard. Using Cryo ammo to freeze enemies and then using Charge to smash them into tiny bits.
02/13/12 - Class solider strategy shoot them before they shoot me and repeat.
02/13/12 - Well I like the soldier class and spamming with heavy fire... But for my ultimate satisfaction in ME2: Vanguard: Use Mordin and Miranda to take out shields and armor then go Charge their ass and finish all with the shotgun. In case of big packs I wait till there are a few enemies left. My main power usage is: lift, shockwave (the extended AOE version) and when the CD works out I charge the one with the most HP and I just shotgun them out. Pistol works great on mid to near-long distances for some extra damage while waiting the countdown to reset. It helped me a lot and it was fun to play. At some parts hard, because there isn't an ultimate strategy, but overall I liked that one the best.
02/13/12 - My favorite clasd is sentinel with power armor and getting assault rifle skill from collectors. Base and using the mattock and dominate for an unkillable character.
02/13/12 - My favourite class is the soldier and I usually upgrade it to commando . I use the M-76 Revenant assault rifle with incendiary or armor piercing ammo.My secondary weapon is the M-22 Eviscerator shotgun with cryo ammo. When I see a smaller enemy I just shot it with the M-29 Incisor s.rifle.But , if I attack a group of geth i use the Arc Projector .When I attacking a bigger enemy for example:korgans or geth prime I use the adrenaline rush and start to shot them with the assault gun and my mates cover my back during the fight. However in the close combat like in the Omega I use only shotgun and the M-5 Phalanx against the vorchas and varrens. P.s.Sorry for my grammar , I'm not English .I come from Hungary.
02/13/12 - Soldier, without doubt. Tried other classes but keep coming back to this.I love having every weapon ever made available so I can pick and choose for the situation. I tend to pick squadmates with ranged abilities, biotics, Kasumi, etc. and have them hang back while I pummel the enemy with clip after clip. I love playing soldier because I can't live without my Incidiary Ammo, Inferno Grenades, and mose especially my sniper rifle...
02/13/12 - Infiltrator is my favorite class and my strategy is to use the M-12 Locust submachine gun with cryo ammo and shoot the enemies barrier, and then use Incinerate to take out their armor, and after that I would use slam to finish off my enemy. It is a great strategy and it is really effective.
02/13/12 - My favorite is definitely the Sentinel class...I just keep alternating Warp and Overload to take down enemies' health/armor/shields. (And of course I always keep my Tech Armor on)
02/13/12 - Vanguard is my favourite class. Then engineer is pretty cool to.
02/13/12 - vangaurd is my favourite class! :) then after the engineer.
02/13/12 - Favourite is Vanguard. Incendiary ammo to burn all your enemies and stop Krogans and Vorchas from regenerating health. Shockwave to knock people out of cover. Charge for when some people get too close or you just want to feel like a Krogan on steroids. Lastly, Pull for getting annoying enemies into the open so you can get Garrus, Zaeed, or Grunt to use Concussive shot for doing a ton more damage or for just yelling "Get over here!" while pretending to be Scorpion.
02/13/12 - Infiltrator for the win because it can destroy enemies before they even knew you were there. Use cloak to line up a shot that can take out a whole squad in a mater of seconds. If it's a geth use disrupter ammo then Ai Hacking and if it's an organic enemy use cryo ammo then make them explode using incinerate.
DylanBias says:
02/13/12 - I always play as an adept, usually on Veteran difficulty but soon I’ll be ready to play on Hardcore. I usually have Wrex hammer them with shotgun fire, Garrus to snipe them, while I hunker down by the front line and smack them silly with wraps, lifts, and singularities.
02/13/12 - I love being a soldier due to the fact that almost all weapons are at my disposal with a variety of different ammo variations. Teamed up with Thane and Garrus, I use the adrenaline rush mode to make accurate head shots with the black widow sniper rifle and unload a full clip of the mattock assault rifle! I also like to use the reave biotic attack taken from Samara to take out barriers and shields on heavier enemy types.
02/13/12 - Why is it that nobody realises any more that the internet is an international medium? *sad*
02/13/12 - I just love the infiltrator Class. Lining up the perfect shot is the best feeling. Also having my squad distract the enemy while I cloak and sneak up behind them and taking them out is also pretty satisfying. I just love hanging back and getting headshots or being right in their faces yelling SURPRISE!!!

I just love hanging back and getting head shots or being right in their face yelling SURPRISE!!!
02/13/12 - I love playing as Adept and find that Pull followed by Throw and Concussive Shot comes in handy and throwing enemies off :)

02/13/12 - @ ManuelEsparza- Oh you can rephrase it in your favor if you like. What I'm "complaining" about is the fact they are calling this the "Ultimate ME3 Fan Prize" and it is indeed NOT ultimate. Sure its nice of them to do this giveaway but it shouldn't be called so grand if it is lacking. I would not show great effort for a sub par prize.
02/13/12 - fuck you guys i`m sick of this US only shit.
02/13/12 - @viper7 are you seriously complaining about free stuff? :P Thanks for the contest prima, I'm not sure how long it should be but hopefully mine will be fine.
viper7 says:
02/04/12 - Hmm so the prize is the collectors edition stradegy guide but NOT the collectors edition game?? That sounds rather short sited when I would still have to buy the collectors edition game for the extra content. Not very Ultimate Fan Prize if you ask me.

02/04/12 - by the time i finish writing the strategy guide mass effect 3 will b out and i might as well buy it.

02/04/12 - Does that mean I have to sit down and write the strategy ... Hmmmm ...
