This "guide" is ridiculous.
It's basically access to their website complete with advertisements for other guides and other Prima propaganda. No printed guide would have crap embedded in it.
I purchased a Brady "eGuide" for StarCraft II and it was a personalized PDF that was 100MB of awesome. This is junk.
I've asked for a refund and will post to let everyone know if I am successful.

The online map is awesome for Skyrim. What's cool is you can search for any item and it will show you exactly where it is and how to get it, plus all the related items. The online guide lets you view the screenshots and zoom in on them, which I like because I can see exactly where things are.
Also, they do this really cool thing where it gives you all related quests which is especially helpful because then you know exactly where you need to go to complete each quest and how things relate in Skyrim. I like it, it's my first time playing Skyrim and the game is so massive, it's nice to have a guide where you can search and see details.
I wouldn't want a PDF.

Actually a pdf. or better yet a flash file which would be more interactive....but this having to be connected to he net just to access the map is bad form. What if I play where is not net access? What good is the convenience of a map only available online?

That's ridiculous. If you wanted it to be offline, just go buy the print book or the iBook. The map is freakin awesome plus I what if they post updates to it and they can add information at any time so we are always updated on the latest stuff the game has. Besides, 90% of people have the internet anyway and if you didn't have the guide, where would you be searching for all the info? Online perhaps?

I have the hard cover collector's guide and the online map, but after a few days of no issues, now I'm being told I can't access the guide from this pc because it wasn't the one I signed up with apparently. But the fact is, I'm at this (personal laptop) pc more than my home desktop. So, not being able to randomly access it during the day is a hassle.
I find I formulate my "skyrim" plans at all hours and it helps maximize my time once able to sit down to actually play. But not having access to the map cramps that style just a bit.
I've thought seriously about getting the online guide, but would be upset if I couldn't access from all my pc's.

I've never purchased an online guide - is it true they are only accessible from the PC that purchases it? Because I am in the same boat - use desktop sometime (have 2 in house) or laptop if gaming on console, and a lighter/smaller laptop if I am traveling. It would only be worth it if I could access them on any cpu I was using at the time. Otherwise I guess I will stick with dragging around the paper guide - would be excellent to have both and worth the extra purchase but only if I truly own it - not one cpu in the house.

Unable to find the hard copy guide in the UK apart from at ridiculous prices (70 USD equivalent), so thought I'd get the Prima online guide from this site.
Register with the site, buy, enter all the billing info, get transferred to Paypal, put in my order, wait 2 minutes for it to process, looking forward to some epic reading about my fave game.......and only THEN does Prima bother to tell me that it won't sell to me because I'm in the UK.
Epic fail, Prima. Very disappointed. Hello??!! There is a world outside of the USA, you know, and we do have access to the Internet, some of us.

Sorry for the trouble but Prima eGuides are officially licensed products and may not be available in all countries due to limited distribution rights.
