I like this game!

For id's first outing since Doom 3, I have to agree that the game is good.

It felt a bit too short though. Just as it was picking up, it ended...and the final level was terrible.

Oh, and all the locked doors and obvious DLC locations were disappointing. But overall, it's one of the best shooters I've played in a long time.

so, I was under the impression that the game was a little broke. It was in a review I read...I dont know, can anyone be more specific in their experience with this game?

It depends on how you'd describe "broke" really.

I encountered no glitches or problems with the game, but I was playing the PC version (I think maybe the console versions may have the occasional problem with pop-in textures, etc).

As far as how good the game is though, it's a love or hate game. It's short, the storyline will be over before you even realise it, the ending is a bit naff, etc.

However, the gameplay is really nice and smooth, the action is quick but easy to get, the driving is fun, etc, etc, etc.

The game would've been fantastic if it had been longer, if the world had been bigger, and it'd been more open-world/sandboxy.

The storyline in the game is short, havent tried the builtin minigames yet. On the playstation, I have beaten the single player game on two of the four difficulties, going to use the first difficulty for beating the minigames, and finding everything. I will use the last difficulty to give the game a final fare-the-well after I get all of the other trophies for the game. I currently have 61% of the trophies for the game. That amounts to 32 of 51 trophies. I didnt have a problem with the DLC missions, found those to be a little weak. id Software titled the difficulties off of there other games, which I found to be worth a laugh or snort of amusement.

All of my friend said get this game called RAGE and I didnt think it be good by the sound of the game's name. But then I discovered that Bethesda had somthing to do with it so then I got it at first i thought it be Pretty good which it was but I thought it would be more of a Fallout kind of game but I was wrong I was a bit disapointed but it did keep me occipied for a couple of month. If you are thinking about buying this game it a bit like Borderlands and Fallout together but with a twist if you have ever played them games.
