Pretty cool game all in all, graphics are real nice, but I would have liked it if Death could double jump like War could, the guide book is ok but isn't always as clear as some of the others I have used.
The problems with the DLC has been a pain kinda makes you feel like you were BSed or lied to about what you were buying. Also watch out while swimming in some areas cause if you get too close to the blacked out areas of rocks like where there's no light you can swim thru the rocks and wind up falling into nothing, happened to me 3 times so far. Death resets himself but it still counts as a death which I think is BS that you get nailed due to a glitch.

I'm enjoying it thus far. All games have flaws, something tells me Despair was given from the get go almost as an excuse to make certain traversals just -seem- longer than they actually are, even on foot.
I do agree, a double jump would have been nice, however the rest of Death's motions are far more fluid. So very feral and primal, it's a nice contrast from the stoic almost Commando like militant motions of War. It did come as a shock to me, that when you see Death enter his Reaper form during a fall that this, counted as dying. I was perplexed by that. I checked my stats to see; "You have died 15 times" - And I'm thinking...
... My health hasn't even dropped halfway, what the... lol But that's more of a trifle of pride than an issue of quality really. I'm noticing, the Dual Scythe's make almost all other weapon types... obsolete. Granted, Possessed Axes/Hammers and such, when fed correctly - Can do triple the damage of my Scythes at the moment...
... But I suspect that's only because I do not have a Possessed Scythe yet lmfao Once I do, should I feed it my other Possessed weapons... I can imagine it would almost become game breaking..
All that to say, I'm enjoying it thus far

I really like the fact that death feels different than war, and not necessarily better. Like previously mentioned, death cant double jump or quickly scale growth with a jump. no wing means no glide either. just little stuff that makes it feel like death isn't just a better version of war. He's altogether different.
Also the loot system is nice. At first it was a bit jarring, and I suspected it would get really monotonous really fast. Also, having played and enjoyed the first game, I wasn't sure it was needed. But it quickly grew on me with the acquisition of my first possessed weapon and now I'm loving it. Still haven't beaten it though I'm getting there!

Yeah, loving the loot system. The whole feeding of weapons into others with the control over statistical improvements, loooooving that. Only downside of it is the whole, reluctance of sacrificing one Possessed weapon for another lol

I was pretty reluctant at first too, but i eventually just sacrificed them anyways. Possessed weapons are my go to trashcan lol. When their all full, that's just more money i can use for guilt/cash. Now I've gotten to the point where ill save some items that have stats i'd like to transfer to a future possessed weapon, and trash the rest if one isn't currently available. the game provides ample enough gear to build back up a small fortune worth of gear in no time.

that happened to me once i just x'd out the entire game and restarted it. that worked for me. maybe a restart of your comp will help. any glitches I've come across (which do happen often enough) have been solvable with restarting the game.
