The Crucible Thread of Doom
So, has anyone yet attempted to thwart swarm after swarm of reflex testing, soul destroying, mind numbing challenge? I must admit, I'm not even sure how to -get- there let alone if I'm ready to challenge even a mere 5 waves, been taking it a bit slow. I see it on the map as a giant land mass of it's own, but it's almost daunting just by it's mere EXISTENCE.
So, HAS anyone started on it? What's it like? Impressions?
I have the idea no specific strategy will truly help, and something tells me my Pure Necromantic build may get me slaughtered in a Gladiator style arena lol

Little update, it seems the Crucible does not unlock all at once, but in chunks via storyline progression. That being said I only have 1-25 currently available to me, and I don't really push past 10 currently lol
I love the system, it's not the most ground breaking innovative thing in a game ever, but somehow the way they implemented it and made what, at it's core; is nothing more than a challenge arena - turned out to be something so much more enjoyable. Maybe it's the fluidity of combat moves, the animation of skills - in particular I LOVE Exhume's animation for the coffin's arising, but whatever that makes it so enjoyable;
They did quite well. Kudos Vigil, kudos.
