After defeating the 2 large corrupted construct warriors and the 30 or so little ones in the SCAR in area 10: North Passage the game just froze! I could not do anything, the controller was useless I had no choice but to hit the main power button on the front of the console and restart it that way. When it game came back up it was once again frozen in the same spot, just after I had killed the 2nd of the 2 big guy. I tried to re-start the game 10 more times with the same results Death just vibrating like he was mid way thru a movement.

After just over 20 hours of game play and on level 16 I had no choice but to restart the whole damn game. THQ, Prima Games, Microsoft, or someone had BETTER figure out what happened cause if I get to the same place again it it does the same thing I will not be a happy camper.

I have not had this issue, I just actually went through Scar and cut down Ghorn without any problems whatsoever. I truly hope your current situation is resolved though, it could be a specific disc problem, maybe something with your system itself. I'm not sure, it's very odd. Insanely bad though, seriously hope it resolves itself.

I'm wondering if it may be the disc too so I'm returning it to Game Stop to swap it out for another copy. This stuff only happens to me I swear! I had a bad copy of Gears of War 3 also.

that's funny.I had the same issue,but not after beating the construct,but just by going around to do some leveling up.When I got to THE CHARRED PATH Death just froze.I had to hit the main power button,when it booted up things were back to normal.I'm thinking it was just a glitch(keeping my fingers cross)

i to have the same issue with game freezing up and have to turn off unit and turn it back on what gives especially when it does it also in the middle of a battle with a boss
