witch one better MW3 or skyrim
here what i think i just had a friend beat MW3 in two day and the reason it took him that long is that he works now skyrim on the other hand boast about 100 hours now i love the call of duty but you tell me witch one you prefer

It's probably unfair to compare MW3 and Skyrim, given they're both entirely different games that cater to entirely different audiences.

In my honest opinion, I prefer the Elder Scrolls series to the Call of Duty series, so I'd pick Skyrim...but this is because I'm not a big fan of Online Multiplayer, which is clearly one of the biggest selling points of the Modern Warfare series.

Keep in mind that the MultiPlayer aspect of Modern Warfare can keep the game going for years, racking up uncountable hours of gameplay. Similar to the SinglePlayer aspect of Skyrim.

So, yeah, basically it's each to their own.

Both are excellent games and must haves in my opinion. MW3 online is fantastic. The maps are bloody brilliant and well thought out. There isn't one map I don't like.

I agree with Andrew, can't compare the two. too completely different games. the whole CoD series is getting old. way old. they haven't updated the engine at all. i'm not gonna bash CoD b/c there is gonna be a lot of fanboys out there but to be plainly honest, it's getting old. I prefer games where I gotta do more than just running and gunning. CoD caters to it's fan-base. personally I don't like it.

Skyrim is amazing, the whole Elder Scrolls series is amazing. Skyrim will keep you playing for years just like Oblivion did and you won't ever get tired of it. It's beyond open-world.

if you want something else than CoD, try Battlefield 3. its online is just as good as CoD if not better and you get to do way more than just running around and gunning down the first person you see.

Well, you cannot compare (in my opinion) two completely different genres of games. Skyrim is an RPG with over 600hours of content (if not more!) and ModernWarfare is an 8 hour campaign (though sports a robust community for online game play)

In short...if I had to choose between the 2, content wise and re playability wise..I'd go with Skyrim.
But if you can get both...do it.

It has already been echoed by the other posts, but it's impossible to compare the two. Personally, I like the open world of Skyrim, as it is truly epic in size and content.

MW3, on the other hand, has unlimited replay value and if you have friends over, you can pass the controller around and everyone can have fun. Skyrim is a lock yourself in a room and play til your eyes bleed type of game.

Skyrim, if you mainly play alone and MW3 if you don't wanna anger your friends by making them watch a single-player game.

The only thing i can add to what is already posted is that Skyrim is such a deep game it can sometimes seem intimidating. I find that MW 3 is just a jump in jump out kind of experience. If you have the patience for a deep story line and to be honest just hours of wandering and exploring than i would put Skyrim above MW 3. I am bias though i guess because i have always loved RPG's over any other genre.
