Konami have finally given a specific US release date for the much-anticipated PS3 sneaker Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

In other Metal Gear news: Sony have announced that the Metal Gear Online beta test will start on 21st April, running for “approximately two weeks”. The test will be available to those who pre-order MGS4.
The pre-order package will receive a limited release, and will be bundled with a “Metal Gear Saga 2.0” DVD with a prologue, retrospective, character biogs, trailers, and a download code for the beta.
“If additional promotional partners are secured, there is a possibility of making beta access available [to others], but nothing is confirmed at this time,” Sony’s FAQ said on its blog.
