Kaine always get what you want

Activision’s The Amazing Spider-man will arrive six weeks late to PC.

The title launched two days ago on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to much praise, but won’t be coming to desktops till August 10th. As a bonus though, it’ll be on Steam, and complete with Steam Achievements.

No word on why there’s a delay but it’s usually good when a developer puts that bit of extra work into a PC, often leading to potential bugs or control issues being ironed out.

The Amazing Spider-man allows players to traverse New York via the medium of web, but not the world wide one, as that’d just be a Spider-man-branded browser.
