ASSASSIN'S CREED III

Assassin’s Creed III Getting an Hour of Bonus Content On PlayStation 308/07/12By Robert Workman

We’re just a little over two months away from the release of Assassin’s Creed III, Ubisoft’s long-awaited sequel to the popular franchise, where you’ll be carving up targets during the American Revolution.  But if you’re looking for a platform of choice, chances are you might go with the PlayStation 3 version.

Not that the Xbox 360 edition will suck or anything, but a recent product listing over at Amazon’s UK page indicates that PS3 owners will be getting something a little extra special in their package.  The box art indicates that the PS3 edition will include 60 minutes of additional gameplay, though Ubisoft doesn’t elaborate what that pertains to.  An extra mission?  A hatchet throwing mini-game?  Your guess is as good as ours.

We should know more about this additional content in the weeks ahead, so be sure to check back for more information.  And reserve your copy of Assassin’s Creed III now if you haven’t already.  It drops October 30th.

08/15/12 - I am a little upset at ubisoft for continuing to give extras to the ps3 and not remaining loyal to 360, where the series began. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT.
