As well as contributing to your Total Synch rating, Challenges can lead to some interesting rewards. To complete them, achieve the requisite feat or activity the number of times specified in each table’s Total column.

Assassins Guild

The Set 1 reward can increase the profitability of the Mediterranean Defense metagame if you unlock it early enough. The easiest way to reach the totals is to start fights with Gunmen and Bombmen as you travel through the city, then call your Assassins into the fray to kill them – or simply use an Assassin Signal to designate them for assassination from afar.

Once you have at least six Assassins at your disposal, use Arrow Storm on a random guard patrol prior to every visit to the Mediterranean Defense interface.

The Den Defense requirement in Set 3 is the only Challenge that can be missed – thus preventing you from reaching 100% Synch. Be sure to provoke and complete three Den Defense situations before you complete all Master Assassin Missions.

Thieves Guild

The “sprint uninterrupted” Challenge is more difficult than you might suspect if attempted in most areas of Constantinople. You can perform this feat without too much difficulty in the gardens around the Bayezid Mosque (Bayezid South district) and in the ruins to the south of the Constantine district.
