Pick up the Lantern
Do as the objective says and pick the lantern up off the ground.
Reach the Temple
This part is sort of a climbing maze that features lots of beams and platforms, plus a couple of doors that need plates to be activated before they will open. Our suggestion is to visit the room adjacent to where you begin (still on the ground level) to fill up your lantern at the oil jar, then start your ascent. It’s hard for us to direct you, but you should always be trying to go further up, eventually finding yourself at the objective marker. It’s not as hard as we make it seem, there really is only one way to go.
Assassinate Rose
Aside from the primary business at hand, you need to complete two double assassinations to finish off an optional objective. The good news is there are lots of opportunities for you to get this done. The bad news is there are a lot of opportunities to get caught while doing it. In fact, we opted to skip this one and just take out the nearby leader with a Phantom Blade to the skull. You can choose the option that you most prefer.
Tip: You can actually sprint directly through this area while your enemies give chase. Once you hit the door at the other end of the room a cut scene will play. However, you’ll be swarmed for your final fight with Rose.
Make your way to the other end of the area where Rose is located to trigger a cut scene and kick off the battle with him. He’s got guards with him, and it’s for this reason that you may want to blast the large group of foes with your Guillotine Gun. You can also use Smoke Bombs to buy yourself some time if things get crazy. When Rose falls your objective will be complete.
Solve the Puzzle
From left to right we’ll assign each of the braziers a number from one to four. You want to light them up by going two, four, three and then one. This should solve the puzzle.
Retrieve the Relic
Climb to the top of the structure, starting with the right side and then crossing to the left when you’re half way up. Interact with the relic to retrieve it and complete your objective.
Escape the Temple
This part is just fun. Pay attention to the tutorial on how to use the relic, then use its power to slowly make your way out of the temple. It’s powers won’t last long, so timing and constant movement are keys to making sure you don’t get cut up on your travels. Be sure to regenerate your health if need be, but this part is purely ceremonial at this point in the game. When you make your way out a cut scene will play and the DLC will be done. You’ve now beat Assassin’s Creed Unity… again.
