The new mode introduces a “Daisywheel” for more intuitive typing with a controller and a new web browser has been added as well that can be accessed while playing a game. Big Picture mode is currently available in over twenty languages, including German, French, Russian, Korean, and Portuguese.

Valve is commemorating this occasion with a Steam sale on over 30 controller-friendly games until December 10. These controller friendly games include Mark of the Ninja, Portal 2, and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.
