Call of Duty: Ghosts Containment Guide – How to Destroy the Bridge

Complete Field Orders, Call in a Mortar Strike and Destroy the Bridge.

One of the best new additions to the map design featured in Call of Duty: Ghosts are the dynamic events. They may not be on the same scale as the Levolution in Battlefield 4, but they are unique and tend to fit into the game nicely.

Today, we show you the map Containment, part of the Onslaught DLC currently available to those who play on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. This map features several dynamic events, some controlled by the player and some automatic.

How to Destroy the Bridge

The main bridge in Containment is a hot spot for action. During the match, Field Orders are randomly given and when completed, can give players the ability to call in a Mortar Strike. You don’t get to choose where the strike lands, since its function is to take out the bridge, forcing players to find alternate routes to move from one side of the map to the other.

Move the Dumpster, Climb the Ladder

If you spawn as the Federation, directly to your right there is a dumpster. Stand behind it and push it forward towards a ladder half way up the wall. Once in place, you can climb onto the dumpster and use the ladder as an alternate way to get into the building.

Radiation Disabling the Mini Map

This dynamic event isn’t user controlled, it’s automatic. If you go near the bridge, either below or on top of it, you will notice your mini map becomes distorted. To return things to normal, simply move away to another location.

Breach Doors and Windows

Containment features no less than four doors and windows that you can breach. Rather than describe them all, look for the red paint with the Call of Duty: Ghosts logo. Walk up to it and if an on-screen prompt gives you the option to breach, you’ve found one. There are two on the Ghosts side of the map that we know of, and two on the Federation side. If you find more, let us know in the comments.

Be sure to check out our brief video where we show you several of the dynamic events described in this article.
