I bought the combo pack for Darksiders 2 that includes the Prima guide as well. When I go to see the guide, it brings me to a site that has all the information. That's great, but I would like to see the guide and read through it while out or just on my IPad for easier access. The problem is, when I try to type in the URL into my Ipad browser or any other browser, I get the No_Code_Cookie technical issue. So basically, I want to know if there is anyway to see this guide outside of a computer that has steam downloaded on it?”

You can access them from your browser on the tablet, but it is a pain in the ass to get there the first time. After you do, though, it is easy.
There may be an easier way to do this, but I don't know what it is. Basically you need to log into steam from your computer (NOT your tablet). Open steam. When you select the game in your library and choose the "guide" link on the right side (or through the right-click context menu), it will open your computer browser to take you to the guide. Here is where you INSTANTLY stop your browser by clicking the X icon in your browser to halt the loading of the page (at least it is an X in Chrome and Firefox. No idea what the icon is for other browsers).
Look at the URL that is there in the address field. THAT url is what you need to write down, as it includes your purchase key for the Prima Guide. As long as you have that URL, you can open the guide on any device.
It is imperative that you halt your browser before it actually loads the guide, because the link changes/redirects once the guide loads to a generic link which is useless on other devices. If you manage to stop your browser in time, you will end up with a link that looks something like this:
I of course changed the key to all X's.
If you do not stop your browser loading in time, instead you will get a link that looks like this:
...which is simply the normal page for the Skyrim guide.
I take those URLs and create bookmarks manually on my tablet devices. They work ok. Sadly, the guides are really not designed with a tablet in mind, so SOME of the guides have menus that require you to hover your cursor over in order for them to expand. This, of course, is not easily accomplished on a touch screen. But it can be done if you do long presses and are careful. Other than that, the guides work ok. Example: The Skyrim guide does not have the cursor hover problem, but the Tropico 4 guide does. Sucks.
If there is an easier way to get your Prima CD key so that you can register your Steam-purchased Prima guides to your online prima account, I would love to know it. Until then, this is the only way that I know how to view your Steam Prima guides on non-PC platforms.
But this DOES work. I am using it now, actually, on my Samsung Galaxy S3.Oct. 22, 2013, 10:31 a.m.
