Watch Bungie’s Destiny Prison of Elders Live Stream on May 6

Create a three-person Fireteam and battle waves of difficult opponents.

Bungie continues to reveal new details about the second Destiny expansion, House of Wolves, which debuts on May 19.  First the developer gave us a peak at the new hub world, the Reef, profiling a handful of characters players will encounter, including Petra, Variks and Brother Vance. From there, the team offered everyone a glimpse at the intriguing Trials of Osiris, where teams of three battle each other in the hopes of unlocking cool Egyptian-style outfits.

Now it’s time for yet another live stream, this one for the equally promising Prison of Elders.  The new co-op Arena mode challenges teams of three to fight against increasingly difficult waves of computer-controlled enemies.  The tougher these baddies become, the better chance of earning high level rewards. Consider it Destiny’s version of Horde from the Gears of War series.

You’ll access Prison of Elders through Variks while at the Reef.  It appears you won’t need to assemble a Fireteam beforehand.

Watch the Destiny House of Wolves: Prison of Elders teaser below.

As for the live stream, it will take place on May 6 at 11AM PT.  Bungie Community Manager Deej will team up with Destiny Lead Designer Matt Sammons and community member ProfessorBroman.  Considering the previous live streams were in excess of 50 minutes long, this one should offer a quality look at what Prison of Elders will offer. You can watch it below.

In the meantime, make sure you collect all of the Dead Ghosts and 20 Gold Chests in Destiny. If you have trouble finding them all, perhaps you need help building the ultimate Hunter, Titan or Warlock.
