Disney Infinity is moving right along to its release this summer, and today, Disney Interactive introduced the latest piece of the puzzle – the city of Radiator Springs.
The world of Cars, based on the Disney/Pixar movie series of the same name, was officially unveiled as the latest playset for the interactive game, one where players can complete pre-set missions and make their own world through the use of the Toy Box level building tools. In this pack, you’ll be able to play along with Lightning McQueen, Mater the Tow Truck, Holley Shiftwell and Francesco Bernouilli through the world of Radiator Springs, preparing the city for a huge racing event.
Within the Toy Box, you’ll be able to create your own racing challenges however you see fit, along with customizable tracks and other bits and pieces of Radiator Springs. No doubt fans of the film – and kids – will really enjoy this.
We’ll tell you more about other playsets introduced for the game as Disney unveils them. Chances are we’ll see more familiar faces pop up, particularly during the Game Developers Conference next month.
Disney Infinity arrives this June for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS and PC.
