Dragon Age 2’s Legacy downloadable content has been given a 26^th July release date, EA have revealed.

It will be available at a cost of 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, 800 BioWare Points on PC and Mac, or $9.99 on PS3.

Dragon Age Legacy is billed by BioWare as a “major, story-based DLC”.

"Targeted by a vicious criminal cartel that are hunting 'the blood of the Hawke,' you must put an end to their relentless attacks," says the description.

"Leave Kirkwall, and journey to an ancient Grey Warden prison in order to find the source of the aggression and uncover the harsh truth about the Hawke lineage.

"Playable from any point in the DAII campaign, face all new darkspawn, forge a powerful new weapon and come face to face with an ancient horror."

There’s the opportunity to visit a set of new locations, and an upgradeable class-specific weapon.
