BioWare are bringing out a Dragon Age: Origins character creator on 13^th October, giving people a pretty good chance to have a long think about their protagonists’ traits.

At the moment, it's only been announced as a PC release. It’ll be a 320MB download from the Dragon Age site.

The devs also announced a beta of their new social community site will be opening on the same day the creator’s released. It’ll even be possible to automatically upload your game character as an avatar.

Chris Priestly, the community leader at BioWare has made a proper announcement on the Dragon Age forums.
