Dragon’s Crown is Free for PlayStation Plus Subscribers

2D hack-and-slash goodness from Atlus and Vanillaware, available for zero dollars.

PlayStation Plus is one of the best reasons to own a Sony console and/or handheld. Each month, the publisher dramatically slashes prices for a handful of games. While some feature significant discounts, players can always count on some free titles to enjoy throughout the month, and August 2014 is excellent. Atlus announced that last year’s gorgeous 2D hack-and-slash title, Dragon’s Crown, is free for both PS3 and Vita.

Although you won’t have the option to Crossbuy after August, we strongly suggest downloading this game immediately. Vanillaware’s exquisite adventure features multiple classes to master, plenty of loot and tons of enemies to destroy.
