Companion Quest: Missing in Action11/17/11By dgaban

There is supposed to be a way to resolve this quest in a diplomatic fashion, i.e. no deaths. But the guide does not describe such a route.

Has David or any other guide writer talked to Bethesda about this quest?

11/19/11 - Being that this quest takes place in an area that needs to be cleared at some point in the game, I believe that this is an option put in the game to keep other NPC's from tagging along. There are a couple of quests that I have run into like this and I have yet to see one that can be solved without deaths.
