12/22/11 - Do you have the mod that enables the veins to glow? It can be found at http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=193 otherwise I'd suggest checking out caves and mines as they seem the best at providing ore veins. At least, that's been my experience so far. I'd also suggest watching along the mountain rock as that more often than not will have ore veins located near or on it. Good luck.

12/22/11 - I'm on PS3 so, unfortunately, no mods, but thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind, a map would still be nice, I'm keeping a written log of all veins I find, but I know that's going to confuse me later when I go back to re-mine those locations...
