how to buy a house in windhelm03/29/12By

hope this question hasn't been asked already, but how do you buy a house in Windhelm? I have tried to do this multiple times and when i search on the internet i can't seem to find a good answer. Since you're the expert, i know for sure you will know!

03/30/12 - ZackStuart is correct – you need to earn the title of Thane. Complete any tasks Jarl Stormcloak has for you. If he’s dead (due to the completion of Civil War quests, and you siding with the Imperials), the new Jarl has tasks for you to complete instead.

03/29/12 - complete the Blood on the Ice quest in Windhelm then speak to the aide, you may have to complete the Civil war quest line. the house costs about 12000 gold to buy.
