Vilkas glitch07/25/12By stormcloak452

I am currently playing skyrim, and I am stuck in a part of the game dealing with the companions. Every time I am near Vilkas he approaches me and without choice I am forced to talk to him. Now I started a quest with him and every second he approaches me and I am forced to talk to him. Even during combat he just stands there and continues to force me to talk to him. He follows me everywhere as well I CAN'T GET AWAY FROM HIM. I tried to kill him but I can't. please help.

07/25/12 - This appears to be a tricky glitch that I couldn't replicate. I'd recommend you reload a saved game back before this started happening. Or, exhaust all the conversation topics Vilkas has before you continue, as you might have to answer a specific question from him. Finally, you might want to Google search this problem, or check Bethesda's forums for any work-arounds.
