where do i find and or buy torches11/12/11By Barbblenasty

i can not find a torch.. where do i get one?

11/15/11 - it works for me i walk up to a torch on a wall and it gives me an option to activate it and i take it. you can also find them lying around.

11/17/11 - Taking them from the walls works perfectly. In every dungeon I leave with tons of torches. I take them just to snuff the light out so I can sneak better without being detected. It works just fine, even after the patch.

11/12/11 - Kill some bandits near caves, then search the bodies. There is usually one or two that have them. I found a few in Bleak falls barrow on the bandits just inside the door

11/14/11 - torches are on random vendors, they are also all over the world on walls/scones that you can simply walk up and pick them up off the wall. I recommend using a night vision spell such as the kajiit racial or enchanting a helm that you carry with you to put on when you need to see in the dark

12/14/11 - They should be removable from any sconce in a dungeon or cave. I got PLEANTY of them! Approach the torch on the wall, and it should be able to be "activated", thereby taking the torch! Hope that helps!

01/06/12 - NOTE REGARDING WALL SCONCES (Bracket holding torch) There are a few types... Ive noticed some are FIXED and others you can take.. even now... i just did it on my 360 like 20 mins ago. the one's you can take are often pointing away from the wall and look as though they slot into a single arm bracket... the dual arm bracket sconces don't give me the option to take - i hope this alleviates some problematus
