Smithing - Buy all iron ingot, iron ore, leather, and leather strips. Make Iron Daggers , only takes one iron ingot and one leather strip. Smithing will reach level 100 in no time.

Archery - Go to the giant and mammoth camp site right down by the side of Whiterun. Get the mammoths to detect you and have them follow you to the small bridge right by their camp location. Go underneath the smallest arch in the bridge and change your gaming difficulty to Master. The mammoths are too huge to get under the bridge and they keep walking into it to try and get you. You are able to keep shooting arrows at them until they die. Two mammoths can get your archery skill up 10+ levels.

Block - Once you are a decent level and have a good amount of health you can encounter giants and get your block up super fast. Go up to the giant with your block up and with one hit from them you increase a level in block.

01/21/12 - To level restoration, drown yourself until you are about to die and then heal your self. Keep repeating this until you reach desired skill sorry to all the argonians.

01/14/12 - I too had a problem with the map located in the back of the guide. While was not getting holes the folds were starting to tear from constant use. The Skyrim map started to look like an old road map out of my car. My solution was easy enough once i found the right sized material. What I did was to open the map up and attach it to a flat piece of cardboard just a bit bigger then the map itself. At one point I almost decided to hang it from the wall in my study then changed my mind and just have the map on the cardboard, setting next to my desk. When I need to reference the map I just pick it up. It's really not that inconvenient to have the map like this. When not being used it slides right behind my desk out of harms way. Try it you'll like it.

01/13/12 - I purchased the Prima Official SKYRIM guide for full retail ($26.99 + tax), which came w/ the Atlas in the back. The problem is without hardly using it, it ALREADY has holes forming in the creases. I've taped the folds with scotch tape on the back & I'm now ROLLING the map to slow down the wear. Prima should have given us a code to this online interactive atlas as well, so we don't wear out the paper one as well!! I'VE ALREADY PAID FOR IT!

(1st 100 skill) _______________________________________________________ note Block :- If your getting 1 hit/ 2 hit killed by said giant, get better armour, enchant with health and eventually your good to grind :) _______________________________________________________ Note Archery :- if your nerfing the fluffy monstrous elephants too quickly, try find yourself some Forsworn arrows (near red eagle quest east of Rorikstead) They must be made out of clay... they can hardly pierce a Fox's nether regions!

01/06/12 - all great tips. also, to make money, make and sell the food. also, get the amulet of zenithar. automatic better prices. selling off all your smithed stuff is another great way to make money. also, check back on some places. if you do the quest for the owner of the alchemy shop in whiterun, you can pretty much loot her entire place, with the exception of a few items. after some time, you can go back and loot the same stuff. i usually take all the ingredients i get and go the alchemy lab and make potions to sell to her.

01/05/12 - @johnstacy you have to get the "house cleaning" option from the Jarl's assistant before you buy any of the upgrades for the house. You may also need to get the key from the girl's mother instead of using lockpick to get in the house. I used lock pick and never got the option to have the house cleaned.

12/31/11 - Trolls and mud crabs are great companions for clearing out bandits in forts. Make sure you open the gates on all forts that have fort gates that swing open. Trolls and mud crabs will follow you into a fort and do all the killing for you - very funny to watch from an advantage point. Suggestions Windhelm take in two trolls and watch the action.

12/31/11 - Whiterun and Giants camp site. How to trap and catch three giants. To achieve three big giant toes, vist giants camp site and hit a giant and let them all chase you back to Whiterun fort. Bring the giants through two fort open gates. Then let them chase you up the steps to the timber guard timber undercover fort bridge gate lookout walkway. Giants cannot fit under the top of the lookout timber walkway due to low roof timber beam. Keep hitting the giants with fire an sparks magic - takes a while to kill all three and keep back a bit from the reach of there clubs. You win three big toes.

I just figured it out one day....hahah FO5T3R: uhm.....you just keep going till whenever? you can have restoration in one hand and a Shield in the other and keep going until you get bored or till you're the skill level you want to be. Keep going til whenever you want then kill the damn thing for some good items/lots of gold!
