Howard spoke at the Microsoft-run games conference E3 2008 stating “We love Xbox Live Marketplace, we’re happy to announce that we’re going to be doing substantial DLC for Fallout 3 and it will be exclusive to Xbox 360 and Windows PC”. No word was given on what the DLC will consist of.

Howard also walked through a live demo of the game, showing off the game’s VATS aiming system along with the Fatman personal nuke launcher. A hack mechanic was also discussed but not demonstrated.

Howard also explained the game included at least 100 hours of play “that reacts to how you play it”. It’s possible to be good, bad, or “anything in-between”.
