Matthew Perry and Felicia Day in New Vegas

Danny Trejo and other stars too!

The man who played sarcy Chandler in Friends, The Guild’s Felicia Day and Zachary Levi of Chuck are all starring in Obsidian’s new post-apocalyptic non-sequel Fallout: New Vegas.

Also amongst the all-star cast are the brilliant Danny Trejo (Dusk Till Dawn, King of the Hill, Desperado),  John Doman (Mystic River, The Wire), Kris Kristofferson (The Blade Trilogy), Michael Dorn (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Rene Auberjonois (Boston Legal, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), and William Sadler (The Shawshank Redemption).

Zachary Levi does the voice of Arcade, a devotee of the Followers of the Apocalypse who apparently has a murky background.

The character is “quiet, analytical, and cautious. Highly ethical and moral, he understands the post-apocalyptic world is one in which sometimes, people just have to be shot in the head.

“He is more concerned with large-scale issues than the needs of individuals. He may appreciate what individual people go through, but firmly believes that it’s more important to affect large-scale societal change than to fix problems little by little”.

Matthew Perry voices Benny, “A smooth-talking criminal but also a bit of a weasel, Benny may sound dangerous, but isn’t that tough. Ultimately he’s more of a ruthless pragmatist than a villain”. He apparently heads the Gecko family, which we presume makes him quite important.

Felicia Day plays Veronica, who can become a companion and is a Brotherhood of Steel Scribe apparently keen on sarcasm.

The big Mexican badman that is Danny Trejo (of whom I’m a massive fan), plays another companion character named Raul the Ghoul, and is a mechanic and former gunslinger.

USA Today have reported that, as is now tradition, Ron “Hellboy” Perlman takes back his seat as narrator in the game.

The man known to many as Wayne “Mr. Las Vegas” Newton plays a programmed radio DJ in the game.

Fallout: New Vegas is coming to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 22nd October this year.
