Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse features co-operative and competitive multiplayer levels, Activision has announced.

You can play the title as either Stewie of Brian, who each have a particular set of skills in this extension of classic Family Guy episode Road to the Multiverse.

The game’s made up of a series of crazy Multiverse themed levels in which you’ll battle various familiar Family Guy characters.

The main baddy you’ll keep running into is Stewie’s evil twin brother Bertram, who is trying to destroy our beloved Quahog.

Very little else has been let out the bag by Activision so far, other than the fact they aim to "tap into the core components of the Family Guy spirit". It's being penned by Family Guy "talent" and, unsurprisingly, boasts an adult rating.
