Family Guy: Back To the Multiverse Invading Your Consoles November 20th

The oft-delayed Activision title finally gets some solidarity. Stewie will be thrilled.

“NOW IS THE SUMMER OF MY DISCONTENT!”  This is something Stewie from Family Guy would say upon learning that Activision’s licensed Back To the Multiverse third-person shooter didn’t meet its proposed September 25th release date.  But relax, kid, go back to killing Lois…because it’s finally coming around.

Activision announced today that the game is finally set for a release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 20th.  The game has Stewie, along with family dog Brian, working their way through an alternate universe, taking on all sorts of weirdos while they try to get back to their own time.

Along with locally supported co-op and a story campaign that takes you through a number of familiar Family Guy references (GIGGITY), Back To the Multiverse will also have a split-screen multiplayer versus mode, using various characters from the Family Guy universe.  Yes, you’ll be able to whoop Peter Griffin, if that’s something you’ve been dreaming out.

We’ll have impressions of Back To the Multiverse very soon.  Expect plenty of mayhem, Stewie style.
