We’d like to congratulate Jamie Colliver on what’s an undeniably impressive achievement: he’s completely remade Final Fantasy VII in LittleBigPlanet 2.

The task took Colliver six months to recreate the much-loved Squaresoft RPG using solely the tools provided to him in LittleBigPlanet2. There are a total of 20 levels and apparently all the dialogue, music, characters, bosses and enemies from the original. The battle system has been remade too.

The FF7 costumes came out some time ago, but I bet Media Molecule wasn’t expecting players to come out with something on this kinda scale.

We can’t wait to have a go at this, but in the meantime, here’s a few clips from Colliver’s YouTube channel.
