Fifteen years ago, Mors Westford took the Black. Because he disobeyed a direct order from his liege, Tywin Lannister, Mors was forced into service with the Night’s Watch or he would have been executed under the order of his former lord. Knowing Tywin Lannister’s unforgiving nature, Mors hid his wife and daughter in a secluded cottage far from prying eyes and asked his best friend to watch over them. He hasn’t seen his family since and has devoted himself to the brotherhood that patrols the Wall and guards the southern lands from unspeakable evils to the north.
