Sony Computer Entertainment of America has announced that they are bringing their Garnet Red PlayStation 3 system to our shores, weeks after it was first announced in Japan.  The system will be part of a stellar new God of War: Ascension bundle that will be released on March 12th, the same day as Kratos’ latest adventure.

The package includes the red PlayStation 3 system and controller, a 30-day PlayStation Plus subscription, a 500 GB hard drive, and six – yes, six – God of War games, including the God of War Saga (which comes with God of War HD Collection, God of War III and the downloadable God of War: Origins Collection), as well as a copy of Ascension.

Pricing hasn’t been revealed for the package yet, but it’s likely to go for $349.99, the same price as the Assassin’s Creed package.  Not a bad deal at all, if we say so ourselves…
