5 Awesome Activities in Grand Theft Auto 5

Time to head back to Los Santos for some hilarious shenanigans.

Grand Theft Auto V might be the greatest game of all-time. Well, maybe not, but as we sit here thinking about it, patiently waiting for it to arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, that’s how we choose to remember it. Whether taking a motorcycle ride through Vinewood with Franklin, or simply dropping in on Trevor, the game is full of fun things to do, and we recently sat down and came up with a list of more than 20 of them. After whittling that down significantly, here are our top five.

Sucker Punch Everybody

This is along the lines of a rampage, but doesn’t involve a weapon. You see, the developers at Rockstar saw fit to give the three main characters some serious one punch knockout power, and when put to good use, it makes for some of the most hilarious gameplay the title has to offer. Seriously, head out into any public area and just start cleaning people’s clocks.

Take a Sunday Drive

The Grand Theft Auto franchise has always been known for their great music and radio, and GTA V is no exception. To experience this to the fullest, modify a Daemon or a Bagger, then let Franklin take it for a spin from his mansion in Vinewood to the shores of Paleto Bay. You can listen to whatever floats your boat, but we normally hope for some Hollywood Nights by Bob Segar and the Silver Bullet Band to come on. What’s your favorite?

Pull Off a String of Robberies

What has Grand Theft Auto V taught us? Well, for starters it’s convinced the younger generation that they’re good drivers, but other than that it’s proved that video game robberies are fun. We can’t stress the video game part of that statement enough. Grab yourself a mask and head down the Great Ocean Highway, there are several convenience stores just begging you to empty their cash register, and the hills provide a great getaway from the fuzz.

Switch Characters to Trevor

There should be a sign on this one that tells you we are not responsible for the shenanigans that you are likely to see. We’ve interrupted Trevor while in a high-speed pursuit, passed out on the railway tracks, and even chasing dancers out of his completely legitimate place of business. The guy is non-stop laughs, and as long as young people aren’t in the area you should pay him a visit whenever possible. After all, who doesn’t love a man in his tighty whities?

Go on an Epic Rampage

Was there ever any doubt that this would be our number one past-time in the state of San Andreas? The rampage is a time honored Grand Theft Auto tradition, and has been helping gamers blow off steam for more than a decade. To this day, there is absolutely nothing that will burn hours of your day up like five-star police chases and gunfights with the FIB. Sit around the flat screen with some friend and take turns seeing who can survive the longest. This completely made up game mode might be more popular than the actual campaign.
