Something to report on GTA 5 beyond a few more screenshots: Rockstar has shown the game off in a behind-closed-doors press demo.

News of the intimate viewing arrived yesterday, when Game Informer editor-in-chief Andy McNamara sent a tweet that read "In NYC, about to check out December's cover game #GTAV" alongside a picture of Rockstar’s logo.

Apparently Game Informer’s December cover feature will be GTA 5, which we’ll probably get to see before its actual release. The magazine itself is due out in November so we can hopefully expect a peek relatively soon.

There are murmurs of a March 1, 2013 release, indeed Gamestop UK lists the title as being de to release that day but this could easily change and there’s been nothing official from Take-Two or Rockstar.
