Getting an operation is a tough thing to endure…especially if you’re a kid. And that’s exactly what a nine-year old boy had to do over the weekend, with barely the strength to sit in the midst of his condition. It’s certainly heartbreaking, but leave it to Bungie to make his day.
The developer behind the Halo franchise and the forthcoming Destiny surprised the young boy this weekend with a visit and a number of gifts, including a card signed by members of the studio, a Halo shirt and, best of all, a full-sized replica of Carter’s helmet from Halo: Reach, which fit comfortably on the boy’s head. Since the receipt of these gifts the boy has been recovering very well and they definitely boosted his spirits.
