EA Sports wants to see what lengths people will go to get their hands on Madden NFL 25, which hit stores today.
The company recently posted a video where it challenged people to take part in a 40-yard dash to win a copy of the game, handed to them by none other than cover star Barry Sanders. Many people had no problem taking part in the challenge, though there were definitely a few creative entries, including someone in a speedo. No, we’re not kidding.
You can watch the video below and watch people try – and sometimes fail – to run a simple 40 yards.
As part of the launch festivities, the company posted details on a new blog with tips for the game, as well as info on how you can upgrade to the next-gen versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for a meager $10 when they release later this year. You can get more details on that here.
Madden NFL 25 is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and arrives for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in the near future.
