My most solid strategy for the Soldier class is to level up as usual and get the Dominate power from Morinth's mission as soon as possible. When that is done, spam dominate and bring along a tech person who is capable of AI hacking. Use both of these powers to turn enemies against one another and the pick them each off as they're fighting each other. Makes for playing ME2 quick and easy.
