The vanguard is the most fun and intense class to play. The combination of charge and shotgun can be deadly to several enemies. However, this is only deadly when you have the armor and shield off the target. And that is why the vanguard has the Incendiary Ammo, which can cause a lot of damage to any target whether you are using the shotgun for short range or your submachine gun or pistol for long range.

Overall, the vanguard has what is best from the soldier and the adept. The strength is essential for the close combat and the pull skill is great to get some targets out of cover and mobilized for a few seconds.
