For all of those players on a mission that just seems impossible, always keep dying right before a checkpoint or right after. My solution is my wall shooting technique. I discovered it when the game first came out. I was playing on insanity and simply couldn't get past a certain spot. (Recruiting Tali) When I accidentally found out i could shoot through the corner of walls as long as my Aiming Reticle was able to see what was around the corner. Simply aim at the enemy you wish to dominate, with a weapon of your choosing (Sadly this will not work with sniper rifles as zooming in will simply have to aiming down your scope at a concrete wall Ect.) Pistols, Assault Rifles, Shotguns, Sub Machine Guns and Explosive weapons will all work as long as there is no scope. Abilities will also surprisingly work as long as you are targeting an enemy. Another quick tip to help, if your companions keep dying, hide them out of the way around a wall and as long as you use the above technique you can use their abilities as well to destroy the Geth, Batarians, blue suns and all of the Mechs you could ever want to.

Example of this technique; Used while rescuing Tali.

It was during the final fight. Whilst on insanity and facing the Colossus, I would have had problems usually, but using my technique I didn't. I would run all the way to the right and up the ramp, kill the geth that came at me and then move forward until i could go back down to the corner where the colossus would take cover when it's shield was gone. That's when you have the freedom to destroy it and have no annoyances like getting a large plasma bolt to the face and dying instantly. I simply stood around the corner and shot the Giant Pain in the Rear without it even retaliating. After a minute or two, a couple of reloads from my SMG it was dead and i was free to enter the cut scene with a long awaited, joy filled reunion with my Favorite Mass Effect 1 companion.

Hope this all helped. Feel free to PM for more hints and tips.
