Infiltrating - Like a Boss02/13/12
My favourite class is the Infiltrator because you can be the ultimate assassin. The assassin is trained through intensive ME2 gaming^^ And that's how you do it.

Always remember to go as unnoticed as possible, stay out of the room you're about to clear so that your enemies won't be alarmed, stay out of range and stay in cover. If you never played a level before, make sure you know the map, and the dark spots for when you get ideas during combat. Remember having space left over behind you, in case you're forced to fall back. You usually don't have an assault rifle with which you could -like the soldier- go in and hit them hard for a longer time. This is your "Output" -at least i call it like that- the ability to have a massive firepower for a long time and with a good ratio. It is increased by your skill and experience(like the feeling how long you can lean out into enemy fire without going down- without having to look at your health bar so you can focus) and for sure the weapon you are using. Your "Input" is what you can take while in enemy fire, but is only increased by upgrades, or clever cover using. For instance if you have two enemies on your left and four on your front, eliminate first all those at your side and then focus on the others, regardless off their capability and damage. What matters is the deplacement of your targets: Husks is likely to reach you faster than Scions. Combine your Squad Powers and Incinerate to "make them have a bad day^^" then take out the Scions with your sniper rifle. But i consider this trivial. Now you could say, "Kill Harbinger first!!" Nope. Take out the other Collector drones first to make sure they can't be possessed by Harbinger afterwards. Then, quickly as his barrier is taken down with your sniper rifle, BURN him. But how to deal with a mass of enemies like 10 or more of them, saying their damage is like Blue Sun Troopers or Vorcha, whatever. You activate your Cloak and sneak around them, take one out and sta in cover, then repeat. You're lucky if you encounter Mechs or Geth, just focus on one and hack him, then enjoy the show. For things like the Praetorian, just find stuff that you and him can move arond and give you cover while going. So far, you enter combat with your Cloak, give Headshots and stand aside for amoment. Only if you're sure you will hit your target and kill it you can go staight in. It's chill out or die. Playing the game on insanity is not as impossible as you may think. staying in cover and maintaining a constant "Output" will force your enemies to stay at their place: If some arrogant Collector Assassin thinks he can jump over his cover because you do nothing, just press Q and E and your powers to make him believe that it's better to stay in cover. Just a Tip: Don't be lazy and set your Squad power usage and their skilling to auto... Make them do what you nee in your situation to win this fight, so thei're ready to have those pwers when you need them and which one you need. All in all, that is how you play the Infiltrator in Mass Effect 2 LIKE A BOSS
I apologize for any grammar or spelling mistakes, because i'm german^^
