When playing the infiltrator class the key is elimination of the minor enemies before they can attempt flanking maneuvers and to cut down on some of the incoming fire. Engagement at range with a sniper rifle is preferable, some of the more accurate SMGs will prove to be adequate in close combat and are generally preferable when compared with the less useful pistol. Sniper Fire combined with incineration tech should be effective against most opponents. However when faced with non-organic opponents AI hacking should take the priority, this ability enables you to hunker down behind cover while your opponents kill each other.
