The Soldier is a durable, well rounded class which is accessible to most, if not all types of players, veteran or otherwise. For most situations I find the assault rifle my weapon of choice with its great range and firepower being a fantastic aid to most situations. Having proficiency in all other weapon types however, lets one adapt to the situation on the fly, close range with a shotgun or picking off far away enemies with a sniper rifle. Abilities such as incendiary ammo and disruptor ammo allow you to take down most opponents at a faster rate whether they're human or machine. Adrenaline rush however is the true lifeline of the class. its slowdown effect can turn the tide of battle even if Shepard is on his/her last legs by using the extra time to daringly duck out of cover and pick off a few of that seemingly endless wave of enemies.
