MASS EFFECT 2

Soldier's Guide to ME202/14/12By JacobKelly

The soldier is my favorite class and is well equipped to take on all foes. With this guide you can go through the game's levels with as few deaths as possible.

Weapons###

To really do well you need to equip yourself with the best weapon combination.

-First having a good assault rifle is key. You really need to get the vindicator battle rifle ASAP because it is more accurate than the one you start out with. However when you board the collector ship I highly recommend choosing the upgraded assault rifle it takes the strengths of the other two and combines them into an awesome killing machine. - As a soldier the other weapons do not really matter all that much in my opinion, I recommend experimenting with them all as you acquire them to find out what works for you. - Lastly having a good ammo power is really important. In general I would go with having either incendiary ammo or armor piercing ammo because they just cut through foes like butter and help you take out those bigger bosses.

Squad Members

As far as squad members go you can be pretty flexible, but i recommend having at least one member who is equipped with an assault rifle or battle rifle at all times. It really helps to have someone else with the powerful weapon there to help you out. However if you decide you don't want those characters in your squad for whatever reason then it really is up to you.

Another great combo that I have found is Mordin and Miranda. They both have useful powers and abilities, and come armed with machine pistols which still pack quite a punch. And if you buy the "Kasumi Stolen Memory" DLC then you will have another character to interchange without affecting the firepower ( Kasumi has a machine pistol too). Actually if you get that DLC you end up with an even more powerful variant of the machine pistol which makes that combo even more powerful.

Overall there are so many ways that you can go through this as long as you are well equipped there aren't too many ways that you can go wrong in the normal missions.

Good Luck
