How I set up my Sentinel and were my points were spent. If ya want a good sturdy class to make it through Insanity mode for the achievement with out to much of an issue. Got me through it and with only 2 deaths (ran into the open like an idiot).

-4 points, Throw (Field) -3 points, Warp -4 points, (Power) Armor -3 points, Overload -2 points, Cryo Blast -4 points, (Guardian) -3 points, Reave (chosen skill)

-Went with Throw Field because of that larger radius that it hits. Not worried about dmg with this skill its mainly to keep the enemy's at bay if they have armor or shields up still. If not have fun watching them get knocked around. Also with its fast CD don't worry about using it contently. If enemies are invading your space feel free to show them some love with Throw Field since it hits multiple enemies and also doing this if enemies are up close and you have dealt with there shield/armor and it happens to knock um down save your ammo and kick um while their down.

-Warp will help you deal with enemies with Biotic Barriers and Armor. Only spent 3 points in this because while its needed in higher diff. because of the increase in enemy diff. I wanted Throw Field, Power Armor and Guardian more. Also i used Mordin who i had Heave Incinerate with to help deal with armored enemies.

-Power Armor i went with because of the added protection because in Insanity mode enemies hit hard. The other choice that increases shield explosion dmg/radius i seen as not wise since you really don't want anything that close to you in the 1st place when playing Insanity mode. So went more armor so i had higher chance of survival.

-Only went 3 points into Overload because i usually had Miranda / Garrus as my other team member who i had speced into the heavy overload for a fast way to deal with some of the shielded enemies that show up.

-Cryo blast i used but not nearly as much as Throw, Overload or Reave. But still nice to freeze enemies in place then getting to shatter them. But again i had Mordin with me who also had the skill.

-Guardian i went with for the added Health and Power Recharge Time. (helped lower CDs so always a bonus).

-As for the chosen skill Warp ammo is usually better, specially when ya get the the 4th tier and choose group warp ammo. But for me i went Reave because if used against organics it can heal you. As well as it does double dmg to armor and barriers.

-While the Sentinel is not very good with the guns as other class's the quick recharge times on powers help make up for it.

-Most important thing about going through Insanity is that even with all the extra armor taking cover is really important so stay in cover as much as you can to avoid unnecessary casualty's . If you need to switch cover from what ever might happen toss a Throw out to if not knock down then to at least stun the enemy to give you even a tiny window that has you not under fire when the circumstances need you to change cover and you are in the open.
