The best powers and combination to use as an Adept

Adepts are biotic masters. So your primary weapon should definitely be a combination of these special biotic powers backed up with some specific weapons.

Adepts start off with a good set of biotic powers. Chief among them are Singularity and Warp followed by Throw and Shockwave. The other powers you can ignore unless you are interested in them.

When first leveling up you should aim to increase your Singularity and Warp power, while simultaneously allocating a good portion of your experience points to fitness and biotic mastery so that you also increase your health and power and weapon damage.

The advantage of this is that you can practically stay in cover during each fight sequence and take care of enemies with these two powers alone while popping out sparingly to use your weapons.

After an enemy is caught in a singularity field, using your warp power on that enemy will cause a biotic explosion a result of the combined powers.

This deals massive damage to multiple enemies. After this you can finish off the enemies with a few shots from your Assault rifle and/or sniper rifle. This is a good weapon combination to have equipped as you are deadly at any range, thanks to your powers and weapons.

Remember enemies with shields, armor and barrier will not get caught in the singularity field although it will damage those defenses. Warp by itself is a good power to whittle away at an enemy's barrier and armor, a leveled up Warp can deal a healthy amount of damage to these defenses.

For shielded enemies, throw a singularity field toward them, the singularity will knock them back and slowly damage their shield. While these enemies are preoccupied using your Assault Rifle to destroy those shields is your best bet.

Once these defenses are taken care of, you can use your biotic explosion once again to finish them off as any regular enemy.
