06/13/12 - Male Shepard: Miranda - Great body & that lovely accent is from an actress whom I already have a huge crush on so that helps! 2nd choice: Tali - Her overall enduring personality, geeky awkwardness in ME2 and huge crush on Shepard won me over within the series over someone like Ashley whom I liked less & less as the trilogy progress (i.e. her constant questioning of Shepard and his affiliation to Cerberus was a HUGE turn off!) Female Shepard: Liara - Loved her character development throughout the 3 ME games, looks great and extremely informative and devastating squad member (I always try to take her on missions because her and Garrus usually have the most most informative/interesting discussions during missions). 2nd choice - Garrus for pure awesomeness and for being such a killer sniper.

04/25/12 - Always go for Liara with the Ecstasy eyes or tali and the air of mystery that surrounds her shrouded face.

03/26/12 - For me. Male Shepard with Tali. It's almost like Prima_Alex said for Fem Shepard and Garrus. She is shy, nervous, awkward but at the same time unwilling to let it get in her way, honest and... well cute. The reward you get for romancing her in ME3 is very worth it as well.

03/25/12 - Male - Liara, Female - Garrus Their romantic conversations are the best, because they are extremely meaningful, and for Garrus, funny as well. Kaidan and Ashley seemed too whiny for me. The new male-male options for Shepard in ME3 also barely made it there. Cortez somehow is there (with the emotions), but the whole thing wasn't long enough. Kaidan seemed like he's desperate cause the world is ending. (so he didn't care shepard was male or female, LOL) ME2 romance options (except for Garrus) are like so dumb that you can do without them. Yup, I dump Kaidan for Garrus. All in all, if I can crown one partner as the ultimate lover in ME, it would be Garrus. He's funny, caring and understands your Shepard. Liara is close, but sometimes I think she's too uptight. Although she changed a little since becoming the broker.

03/13/12 - For male Shepard, it's hard to say. Liara's an interesting character. Mass Effect 2 introduced a LOT of new choices, so I made saves for those characters. Ultimately, my favorite is probably Miranda, though. Female Shepard is almost always paired with Garrus, though. He's my favorite character no matter what Shepard I choose to play, but his dialogue during a relationship with female Shepard is always an entertaining mix of awkward, amusing, and touching.

03/13/12 - Given my history with the series, I'd have to say male Shepard with Liara. There's just something that feels *gasp* romantic about their relationship.
