03/27/12 - Without spoilers, this decision can be said to "go either way." Nothing bad happens, per-say, if you killed the Queen in ME1. This part of the story is well written, but contains a redundancy that allows players to think their decision through again. There may be some difference in the War Asset benefits between the outcomes, but I didn't check between my play-throughs. Good luck and good gaming!
