Electronic arts is set to publish Mercenaries 2: World in Flames around the globe.

Previously the game was released by LucasArts, and is expected to come to the PS3 this year, and we may also see a 360 release, though this hasn’t been confirmed.

"Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will set the bar for explosive, open world action games in the next generation, and everyone at Pandemic is excited that fans will be able to get their hands on it later this year," CEO of Pandemic Andrew Goldman stated.

The original game came out on both PS3 and Xbox and performed well in both sales and reception.
